Franklin, TN – Mother with 3 children of a “middle class” family is in crisis. The mother has been forced to live on an “operational budget” of $2,000/month by her husband who earns more than $250,000/year, and must use that money to pay for all family expenses, food, clothing, gas, etc. Every dollar spent is scrutinized and every text or communication is monitored. She has no access to bank accounts, credit cards or joint monies, and has been verbally, emotionally and physically abused when she is “non-compliant.” Husband has threatened to hurt her or “throw her out on the street penniless and take the children” when she discusses emotional or financial assistance or separation. She is unable to successfully hire an attorney or divorce advocacy services as she does not have access to any additional financial means.
We are raising $10,000 to temporarily help secure a safe exit for this mother and her children, plus secure a good family law attorney, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and divorce advocate services to assist with a proposed parenting plan. This money will be recovered once the division of assets has been finalized.
